Recreation Tournament

Each year, thousands of students participate in ACUI recreation events at the campus, regional, and international level. These tournaments are designed to develop and stimulate interest in wholesome recreational activities that can supplement the academic life of the college student. Some of the tournaments are Individual Bowling, Team Bowling, Pocket Billiards, and Table Tennis. Well-organized recreation, social, and cultural programs on campus can form the basis for sound lifelong leisure habits, which are an increasingly important consideration in modern living.

2012 Recreation Tournament

Portland State University and the Smith Memorial Student Union will host the 2012 Recreation Tournament & Poetry Slam and the Knowledge Bowl - NAQT on February 3-4, 2012. For additional information about the 2012 Rec Tournament, please contact Loretta Dike at 971-722-7379.

Tournament Details

All events will be held in the Smith Memorial Building Student Union on the campus of Portland State University.

Friday, February 3
Poetry Slam: Check-in 7-7:30pm. Competition begins at 7:45pm in the "Food for Thought" room.

Saturday, February 4
Billiards/X-Box/Table Tennis Check-in: 8:30-9:30am in the Basement
NAQT Check-in: 9-9:30am in the Basement
Participants Meeting: 9:30-10am in the Game Room.
Billiards & X-Box Modern Warfare: 10:15am in the Game Room
Table Tennis: 10:15am, location TBA.
NAQT Tournament: 9:45am, location TBA.
