Institute for Leadership Education and Development
I-LEAD® is ACUI's premier student program, designed to emphasize the key concept areas of leadership, community development, and change.
I-LEAD® offers an opportunity for the leaders of tomorrow to focus on personal growth and pertinent issues facing our world. The institute maximizes the potential of the student-staff partnership model by creating educational student-student and student-professional interactions.
I-LEAD® is held at Indiana University - Bloomington every summer. The I-LEAD® curriculum is grounded by "The Role of the College Union" statement and the I-LEAD® values: inclusion, shared vision, risk taking, collaboration, celebration, human dignity, community building, and integrity.
I-LEAD® Scholarships
Region 14 offers two scholarships to I-LEAD®. The application for 2009 I-LEAD® is May 4, 2009.
Criteria
- 2009 I-LEAD Scholarship Application (.doc) must be submitted to to Jessi Steward by May 4, 2009
- Submit a cover letter addressing how I-LEAD will enhance your contributions to your campus community.
- Sumbit a letter of support.
- Please Note: Travel, hotel and other expenses must be covered by the institution or the scholarship recipient.
- Additionally: Chosen applicants will need to commit to presenting at the Regional Conference in October 2009 at Central Washington University.
